Ticketing FAQs

All your questions answered for buying tickets to an ABB FIA Formula E World Championship event.

Where will tickets go on sale before a race?

Tickets for each race will go on sale on either the official Formula E ticketing website or via a local ticketing partner.

Please go to the 'Tickets' tab on FIAFormulaE.com to purchase tickets for all Formula E races. Only tickets purchased from the official ticket provider for each race will be valid.

If the race you wish to book for is not available, please sign-up for alerts so we can inform you when tickets become available.

What are the different ticket types?

A Grandstand ticket would be in a tiered seated area adjacent to the track which has a view of the track, and usually includes a view of a giant screen for you to follow the action. Grandstand tickets include access to the Allianz E-Village.

When available, an Allianz E-Village ticket allows you to visit the Allianz E-Village but doesn’t guarantee a view of the track. No seats or grandstand access will be included with these types of tickets.

Where available, a Pit Walk Ticket allows you to visit the Pit Lane at a specified time during the day. You will not be admitted to the venue with this type of ticket so must be bought in along with either a Grandstand or E-Village ticket.

Are children’s tickets available?

Please check the event ticketing page for availability of children’s tickets as this can vary on race by race basis.

What is a Student Ticket?

When applicable, these can be purchased for someone who holds a valid student ID card on the day of the event. Please bring this ID with you on the day to present if requested.

Is there disabled access?

Most circuits will have an area for disabled guests to ensure they get a good view of the action on track. Please see individual race ticket website for more information.

I am ambulant disabled, can I bring a carer/companion with me?

Yes, we advise that you book all required tickets online and then contact our customer service team via our contact form with your booking reference number.

We will be able refund 1 of your tickets and re-instate it as a companion ticket.

(Please note that we may ask for proof of eligibility if required)

When will I receive my tickets?

If your tickets were not attached to the email confirmation, you should expect to receive your tickets at least 10-14 days prior to the event. If you haven’t received your tickets 7 days before the event, please contact the ticket provider you purchased the tickets from.

Do I need to print my tickets?

The e-tickets and mobile wallet tickets can be scanned directly from your phone so no need to print if they can be displayed on your phone handset.

Can I change the name on the tickets?

The name on the ticket displays who has purchased the ticket not the names of the people attending.

Can I purchase tickets on the day?

Subject to availability, tickets will be available to purchase from the on-site box offices except for Rome where no tickets will be available on-site.

What is the schedule for the event day?

Once this has been confirmed it will be displayed on the event page on the race calendar. You can choose to arrive at any point during the day up until the start of the race.

Will there be parking?

We recommend using public transport to attend the event. Advice on public transport will be detailed on the event page in the race calendar section.

Can I take photos and videos?

Non-commercial photography on handheld personal devices are permitted at the venue provided that the photographs and recordings are permitted for personal use only. Any large/professional photography equipment (e.g. tripods) are strictly prohibited.
